JESUS

AWAKENING SERIES Begins March 7, 2010

Jesus is the most famous person in all of human history.  More songs have been sung to him, artwork created of him, and books written about him than anyone who has ever lived.  Yet we still have questions about him.  Who is the real Jesus?  Whether you've been a christian all your life or aren't one at all, this series will answer questions about who Jesus is, what's his purpose, and why we should follow him.

3/7 - Is Jesus the Only God?

3/14 - Why Did Jesus Come to Earth?

3/21 - What Did Jesus Accomplish on the Cross?

3/28 - Did Jesus Rise From the Dead?

AWAKENING SERIES January 17-February 28

"To just read the Bible, attend church, and avoid "big" sins--is this passionate, wholehearted love for God?"  - Francois Fenelon.

A lot of people live this way and label themselves Christian.  But is this Christian?  Are there different levels of Christian?  This series will explain that Christianity is not a part of your life, but it is your life.  There's no such thing as a fully-devoted follower of Christ, you are either a follower or not.  There's no middle ground.  Would you describe yourself as totally devoted to Jesus Christ?  Or do the words lukewarm, halfhearted, and partially committed fit better?

1/17 - God is BIG...No, I Mean Really Big

1/24 - A Lukewarm Person is UNCOMMITTED

1/31 - A Lukewarm Person is SAFE

2/28 - A Lukewarm Person is GOOD ENOUGH
